James Hilbert, CPA

James is used to holding more than one role in the firm during his time at Mize CPAs Inc. As a tax and audit shareholder, he works with clients in need of tax planning, consolidated financial statements, a certified audit or other attest services. He is a “go to” expert in providing tax, audit and business consulting to construction companies and auto dealerships.

As the Managing Shareholder, he is responsible for carrying out the policies, objectives and strategy for the 230+ employee firm adopted by the firm’s Board of Directors. His responsibilities extend to keeping a close watch on industry and regulatory changes impacting public accounting firms.

Personal:

James is having fun returning to his childhood roots with the purchase of 60 acres of beautiful Kansas farmland. Working side-by-side with his sons, Austin and Parker, they are restoring a farmhouse on the property, baling hay and getting ready for a future herd of cattle.
